What brought us together? 2001: A Space Odyssey. The movie.
Linda and Luana met at the university during their doctoral research in political science. Teaching came with the job, and one semester they were handed a topic that makes most students frown: European integration theories. Abstract, dense and hard to love. The approach to it was most unusual: start each complex theory with a movie. 2001: A Space Odyssey showed students how each step only makes sense because of the one before it; one small move at a time, can lead somewhere nobody expected. Today, the same scenes would open a conversation about AI alignment just as easily.
Back then, the team bonded over a shared question: How to explain complex things in ways that feel easy, intuitive and fun?
With storytelling, analogies, visual arts, and experiential learning. These methods still shape how we work and what we believe in.
Luise joined the crew ten years later, and it became clear immediately that she had been missing all along. The knowledge of how to make ideas travel was there; she brought in the skills to make ideas land: what they weigh, who is waiting for them, whether they still makes sense once the excitement settles. Together, we drift far enough to find something new, and stay grounded enough to bring it back.

What keeps us moving
Our commitment to turning knowledge into real-world change.
Linda and Luana began their careers in research: one in communication and media studies, the other in European integration and rule of law. From there, they moved into applying the results: Linda co-trained an AI model to counter online hate speech, while Luana built a series of algorithms that help assess compliance and democratic resilience in Europe. Now, with Luise in the team, we take the next step of bringing applied research as close as possible to the realty of an organization.
We know we’re working in a time of sustainability fatigue, when many are tired of the topic and hesitant to engage. But we believe this moment needs new approaches, ones that spark curiosity, lower barriers, and make complexity feel accessible. That’s why we combine experiential formats with responsible AI. Not as a clash of buzzwords, but as part of how we see sustainable development: as including social responsibility, digital literacy, human-centered design and mindful innovation.

Our Values and Approach
We believe change happens when complexity becomes approachable, and when participation replaces prescription.
We don’t simplify, we clarify.
We don’t preach, we invite.
We don’t build tech for its own sake, we use it meaningfully.
Sustainability Experience Lab today
A space for co-creation, reflection, and strategic action.
We work with public and private institutions, supporting them to navigate sustainability and digital transformation with confidence. What sets us apart?
We turn sustainability from a checkbox into a journey.
The future we are building
We imagine a future where sustainability isn’t just a department, but a shared mindset. Where AI serves people, not the other way around. Where public institutions lead with courage, universities shape action beyond academia, and startups grow with integrity from day one. We are building this future together.
